Call Committee
The Vision Board will be forming a Call Committee of six members to call a new pastor. This committee will be demographically diverse. People willing to serve on this committee must be willing to serve for at least a year and make this commitment a priority. If you are interested in serving on the Call Committee, please contact a member of the Vision Board so that your name can be added to list of possible committee members.

Confirmation students will join the dinner, worship service, and will have small group discussion with their confirmation teachers.

Sunday, March 13, after the late service; approximately noon until 1 pm.
All are welcome; no experience needed.

Jazzercise
Get in shape for spring! Halfway Creek will be hosting an eight-week Jazzercise Session beginning on Monday, March 7th. Jazzercise fuses cardio, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and of course, the demanding forms of dance; burning up to 800 calories in one 60-minute class. Classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $65 for Halfway Creek members and $75 for non-members (check payable to Jazzercise). This fee also includes the opportunity to attend 16 other class times at La Crosse locations.

Confirmation Parent meeting Feb. 16
There will be a meeting for Confirmation parents, and parents of youth attending the mission trip on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. at church. We ask that only parents attend this meeting. The youth trip is still on for this summer. More details regarding youth activities will be announced soon by the Youth Team.

Open conversation Feb. 21 about beginning the call process
We ask that all our members come together in our search for a new pastor. Bishop Arends will lead us in an open conversation about the pastoral call process at 5:30 p.m. on February 21, at the church. All are welcome to attend.

Cancelled – Tubing at Whitetail Ridge (Ft. McCoy) – February 28
Due to weather, this event has been canceled.
Time: Noon until 3:00 pm. Plan on leaving church at 11:30 or you can meet us there.
Who: Everybody is invited and ask a few friends to come along too! (Must be 38” tall to ride on tube alone)
Cost: Adult – $15.00; 12 and under – $10.00
**If we have over 50 people we will receive a discount!

Choir for Palm Sunday and Easter
We are assembling a choir for Palm Sunday (March 20th) and Easter (March 27th). They will sing at the 8 am Palm Sunday service and the 9 am Easter service. This will be a mixed choir opportunity (men’s and women’s voices) open to anyone age 12 or older. Rehearsals will be held in the sanctuary from 9 to 10 am beginning on Sunday, February 14th.

Cemetery Association Annual Meeting – February 14 – 11:45 am
The annual meeting of the Halfway Creek Cemetery Association will follow the 10:30 am service.
