Walking Together in Faith – October 25 – 9:15 am

Cross and Human

He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort – we get a full measure of that too. –2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Purpose

To provide opportunities for anyone who is working on their own recovery and healing, or anyone who is impacted by their loved one’s journey toward recovery and healing to have a safe, confidential place to share experiences and build hope through community.

These are open meetings meaning that anyone can join at any time.

What to expect

  • Devotion followed by a short discussion
  • Sharing time
  • Theme discussion – each time we meet we will have a theme relevant to the groups purpose
  • Ending prayer

Halfway Hodgepodge – September 20 – ONE SERVICE AT 10:30 am

Halfway Hodgepodge

Halfway Hodgepodge is a progressive meal where you can learn about and volunteer for our ministries here at the church.  Tables will be set up and each will feature a different ministry.  Also at that table will be the next part of your meal.  It is a fun way to see all that we do here!  Hodgepodge will be after our 10:30 am service.  Also that morning we will have “Leather and Lace”, a polka band, leading worship with us!

FUZZNUTS! is looking for volunteers!

FUZZNUTS

FUZZNUTS! is an organization that helps families with kids in the hospital by running errands for them.  We do this so that parents and staff can stay with the kids.  We formed FUZZNUTS! in memory of Aaron Johnson.  His experience as a leukemia patient showed us that time spent together as a family would prove to be the most essential “therapy” a child going through cancer treatment can receive.  When you volunteer you are simply agreeing to be “on-call” a couple of days a month to run errands.  There is no cost to volunteers.  Please check out our website  www.fuzznuts.org
