All youth who are in 8-12th grade are eligible to go attend next summer’s mission trip. Please join us at 6:30 this Wednesday in the youth room to talk about details for the mission trip as well as to do some planning and visioning for this year’s youth group.

We will have having a float in this year’s Kornfest Parade and will have a combined float with Journey and Holmen Lutheran churches. Here is what we need:
- People to walk beside float to hand out candy
- A group to help decorate the float

Our Sunday worship schedule will change for the summer. We will have one Sunday morning service at 9:00 and starting June 14 we will add a 6:00 p.m. service as well. Communion will be offered at both of the Sunday services. Some of the 9:00 am services will be held outside in our outdoor worship area called Whispering Pines (weather permitting).

Twins vs Brewers at Target Field – Holmen churches
Join Holmen, Journey, and Halfway Creek churches as we attend a baseball game! We are traveling via luxury motor coach up to Target Field in Minneapolis on June 6th. We leave at 8:30 am sharp and will return around 7 pm, depending on the length of the game. Tickets will only be held when full payment is received. Payment can be turned in at the church offices of your respective congregation. Cost is $65 for tickets and transportation. Food will all be on your own.

ShareBuilding Dedication Choir
The Halfway Creek Mixed Choir and Women’s Choir will be joining forces for the Building Dedication on Sunday, May 31st at the 10:30 service. The combined choirs will be singing two pieces and women’s choir will be singing one piece alone. All interested singers are invited to join either one or both groups for this special celebration in the life of the congregation. Please Contact Us if you would like to participate.
In order to encourage participation, Sunday morning rehearsal time will be shared by both groups. Halfway Creek Mixed Choir will offer an additional rehearsal opportunity for those singers who can’t attendSunday morning rehearsals. Rehearsals will begin after Easter Sunday.
