ALL ANEW- WOMEN OF THE ELCA – 10th TRIENNIAL GATHERING – JULY 13-16, 2017 – Minneapolis, MN
The North Conference has contracted a bus for Friday, July 14, 2017, to the Triennial! Make sure you have your spot reserved!!! Reconfirm or confirm the number of ladies from your unit that want to go on this date! Contact Deb ASAP!
The bus is scheduled to leave Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville at 6:00 a.m. on the 14th and will be back that night around 9-10 p.m. We are also planning on a pickup at St. John’s Lutheran in Alma. Depending on the final numbers going, the bus ride should between $12 and $15 or lower depending on our Summer Event offering.
The Tenth Triennial Gather calls us with our sisters to experience not only the power of the Holy Spirit, but the power of women gathered – to be women who act boldly on their faith. We will learn what it means to become All Anew. Nobel Peace Prize winner Leyman Gbowee (LAY-ma Bo-ee) will be one of the keynote speakers. She is known for assembling thousands of women who prayed in the streets of Liberia, eventually putting an end to the Second Liberian Civil War in 2003. Registration is now open.
Adult registration is $310 for the entire triennial. Adult Friday or Saturday registration (one day only) is $175. Registration for this event and more information about the Triennial can be found at www.welcatg.org . Each unit needs to make their own individual registrations for the day(s) you are attending

Presidential Gardeners Program:
This presentation will focus on a few of our past U.S. Presidents who were gardeners. You will be surprised at how our country’s founding fathers took both pride and pleasure in growing vegetables, herbs, importing exotic plants, and designing elaborate gardens at their homes before and after the time they spent at the White House.
