Reaching Out to Share Christ with All
Just a reminder that there is no Sunday school the next two weeks. We will resume Sunday school on January 4th at 9:15 am with our Prayer, Pajamas, Pancakes, and Pals party. Students are invited to wear their jammies to Sunday school (and church), bring a friend, have a hot pancake breakfast, and celebrate the new year with us!

Our youth will be wrapping presents as a fundraiser for their upcoming trip to Detroit for the National Youth Gathering. Simply bring gifts to be wrapped to church on December 14th. There will be a station set up in the basement. You can pick up your wrapped gifts after church. Cost is free will offering.

The residents at Prairie Home in Holmen are very excited to have our Sunday school students visit this Sunday! We will meet at Prairie Home at 9:15 to sing carols and distribute homemade cards that the students created a few weeks ago. We will be done singing at 9:45 am, so please plan to either stay with your children, or pick up at Prairie Home at 9:45. The address is 620 Malin Court, Holmen.

We will be setting up two Christmas trees in the sanctuary next Wednesday, November 26th at 1:00 pm. There is no school that day, so youth are more than welcome to come and help decorate! Confirmation students will receive service hours for helping. Please reply to this email if you are able to help!

On Sunday, December 6, our youth will host our 2nd Annual Santa’s Workshop. Our Sunday School students will have the opportunity to purchase gifts for friends and family during the Christmas program practice. Prices will range from $ .50 – $2.00.
If you have any items you would like to donate for this event, please bring them to the church basement! We are looking for gently used items.

We hope that we don’t have too many cancellations because of the cold this year, but in case we have some, we will be opening the church again for free childcare for families who still need to work on those days. We are looking for adults and youth who would be willing to volunteer their time (6:30 am – 4:00 pm) for either part or all of a day to play with us! It was a great outreach opportunity last year. Please contact Pastor Jean if you’re able to volunteer. Thank you!

Join us from 12-3 pm on the 25th for our second annual Trunk or Treat event! You are invited to decorate your trunk, car, tractor, wagon…whatever vehicle you have and children will trick or treat to each vehicle! You are welcome to come in costume and bring your own bucket of treats. There will be a hotdog lunch, a cake walk, face painting, and more. Please look for sign up sheets going around church or contact us if you’d like to have a vehicle in the trunk or treat event or can volunteer in another capacity. Thanks!
