For the month of November, keep track of the days you’ve completed fitness activities (highlight, star, or cross off your calendars).  If you’ve completed at least 10 activities during the month, fill out the online form or the forms that will be in the front of the church.  We will hold monthly incentive drawings and after a year we will recognize those who completed 12 months of activities!

Also, if you are already active for 30 minutes or more a day, you are eligible for the drawing as well!  Simply fill out the form and indicate how you’ve been staying active.

  • Wednesday:  Go to bed 1 hour earlier tonight – aim for 7 hours of restful sleep
  • Thursday:  Vacuum the house
  • Friday:  Skip an email reply and walk to the other side of the office to speak with the co-worker
  • Saturday:  Put a bunch of clothes or handkerchiefs on the floor.  Can you jump from one to the next?  Try to cross the room without touching the floor.
  • Sunday:  Get outside and go for a walk.  Look for different shapes.  Can you find a circle, a square, and a triangle?
  • Monday:  Try and move for two minutes without stopping.  What happens to your heart when you do this?
  • Tuesday:  Do some outdoor chores as a family.  Reach, pull, push, and bend.

All Saints Sunday – November 2

Candles

This is an opportunity for us to give thanks for all the faithful saints – those who have died and those still living.  As part of our commemoration, we mark two anniversaries, those who have been baptized and those who have died in the past year.  We will also be invited to light candles in honor or in memory of saints in our lives.
