Reaching out to share Christ with all.
The Halfway Creek Lutheran Church logo is a colorful cross representing a bright, vital congregation living its mission. The edges of the cross aren’t defined, reaching out just as we are reaching out into the world. Around the cross are “God colors,” blue signifying baptism, red for Pentecost, purple representing Christ the King and the alleluia gold of an Easter sunrise.
Like this cross, we’re not separate from the world outside our church building, we seamlessly flow through the lives of our members and into the fabric of everyday life. The font (Papyrus) was selected to keep us anchored in our traditional past. The logo is a visual blend of the future and our honored tradition. Halfway Creek Lutheran Church was foundational in the establishment of many Lutheran congregations in this area and is the birthplace of Luther College, now in Decorah, IA.
